I was fortunate enough to have met and known Jason while he was sponsored by Katin surf wear a few years back. I was even more privileged to have spent some time with him at the Pipe House for a Katin team photo session. It was there that I learned; that just as hard as Jason charged Pipe....out of the water he was just as big hearted, caring and most of all radiated the Aloha spirit.

Beloved North Shore surfer Jason Bogle passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 29th, in the company of his family, following an extended fight with bone cancer.
Jason left with time to tell everyone how much he loved them all, expressing joy for the time he'd been granted and love for all the people in his life. A North Shore memorial is tentatively scheduled for early November. He will be greatly missed and remembered well.
